Seducing Mr. Perfect 2006 quotes

Korean drama Seducing Mr. Perfect 2006
aka Seducing Mr. Robin quotes

What exactly is this 'true love' you're referring to? / Like being hit in the heart by a bullet … do you know that feeling? True love means to share your hearts and not be lonely, to be warm, happy, that sort of thing. / There's no such thing. / There is!

Why have I been dumped 3 times now? / Because you don't know the rules. The rules of the game. / Love isn't like playing Star craft, you know. / Yes, it is. / It's actually a game that requires even greater precision and planning. A game of power. Manipulations of emotions to control the mind … That's the game. oh, it is a game. It's a game where the one who display affection first, give up total control and goes around like a dog on a collar. In relationships, you were the one to call first and he was the one to hang up first, right? And when you got together you'd always run to him and you always give him gifts on anniversaries, only you, right? / Right?

How did you know that? / I know because these are the consequences of dating without any self respect. That's how I know.

A woman who was just dumped needs a shoulder to cry on, not a critic. 'It's not your fault.' 'He just wasn't the right guy for you'. A friend who can say this.
Nice people are boring.

In most wars, the weapons are guns and missiles. But in this kind of war [men vs. women], they're the newest hairstyles and dresses. A beautiful weapon that will make the enemy's heart pound.

Mrs. June, is that your grandmother's dress? It's very similar to my grandmother's pajamas.
If physical warfare is ineffective, turn to psychological warfare … request his counsel on difficult matters and bring out his soft side …

Last time you said love is a game. Teach me the rules of the game. / I can't do that. It's because it's impossible to upgrade from a 386 system to a Pentium. Your brain might stop functioning, from a fatal error. / Are you telling me that my brain is a 386? / When a piece of stock has no future, you have to know when to cut your losses and when to sell. Relationships are the same, if there's nothing left to salvage, you cut your losses and you sell.

I just feel sorry for him. / You see that. That is another reason why men leave you. Your indecisiveness, you're being overly sensitive, will not only damage your love life, but your career as well.

Love. Romance. Sounds great when you're young. But later, money is love and money is romance.

Women have a sort of antenna that men don't know about.

You need technique, even for love.

… a love without losing self-respect

Self respect. I didn't know you had any to begin with. [a man to a woman]

He: Love is a game of power, a manipulation of emotions: Don't answer the phone. Make him call you 3 times. If he really wants to see you, he will call until you answer; You choose, he pays; Smiles, compliments, gestures – you are only feeding his ego. If he already has a big ego, you need to deflate it with some shock therapy; Having sex with him now is like handing him the game; If you want to be treated like a queen, then act like one. How you train you opponent is up to you.

People always change.

I wish you could remain my pleasure bunny forever. [a man to a woman]

She: I guess manipulating people isn't fun. It's tiring and kind of hard. … What if, in manipulating people, we lose the pleasure of an honest conversation? Why use manipulation if we can't discover one's true feelings? Have you been happy in that sort of relationship? The funny thing is, after all that's happened I still miss the old me. Instead of calculating, I want to be honest. Instead of receiving, I want to give. Instead of hiding, to let out all my feelings…

She to her father: Dad, I think my head is messed up. Some guy completely blew up at me, but it felt like he said he loves. He was screaming at me, but it sounded like a sweet whisper. What's wrong with me? / The father: What's wrong? You're in love with him, that's all. / She: No, Dad. I'm not in love with him. I don't like him. / The father: Yeah? Then I guess he's in love with you. / She: No, that can't be it, either. The father: How do you know? Have you asked him? / She: I haven't, but anyway it can't be true. He's too cold to me. / The father: You silly girl. Words do not always express one's feelings. Your mom says my face makes her sick, but do you believe it? You have to read the eyes! People can lie with words, but not with their eyes.

Changing the name of the company is like changing the names of all the employees.

Korean movie Dancing queen 2012 quotes

I didn't grow taller because my boobs weigh me down. [a woman]
Once an artist, forever an artist. That why you should follow your dreams to live a meaningful life.
Life's no stroll in the park.
Lying about the weight is the most pathetic thing.
Beggars can't be choosers.
I can't do politics because I'm not good with my fists.
A man's supposed to be ambitious.
… Is that why the government is recommending breast feeding? / Moms are not milk cows. You can't just milk them away.
How could I do politics when I can't control my wife? [a man to his wife]
My parents didn't give birth to me so I can sacrifice my life for you. [a woman to his husband]
They say 'one must govern his home before he can rule the country'.
My wife is a human being before being the wife of a politician. She is not my belonging. A family is not something to govern.
Trashy dramas usually get high ratings.

All about my wife 2012 quotes

Korean movie All about my wife 2012 quotes

There's really nothing happening. It's your cell phone vibrating, not an earthquake.
It's really an honor to meet such a beautiful woman.
Sleeping with me is like paying dues for you? [a woman to his husband]
Suicide is murder too. You should arrest him. / It's the only freedom that a man can truly have. / So a killer's freedom is murder, theft is for thieves and suicide is your freedom?
I'd like to go home, Officer. / You need a guardian here for us to let you go. / I have no one to guard me at my age. Only my soul can guard me.
Are you the Casanova? Are you that skilled? You don't look like it.
Repetition of coincidence woos them [women] every time.
In this world, there are only 2 types of women: a woman who believes in fate and a woman who pretends not to.
Anything else you don't like? / Tons of things, of course. I hate people who worship things like fate or chance. They force meaning into everything; Men that sneer at TV dramas; Women that hate the news; I hate people who force you to become a morning person. The early bird catches the worm? The worm got up early too; Company field days at my husband's firm. A day of sports events won't unite your employees and you have to let your boss win!
Once her fate turns into passion, she'll think it is fate. No woman can resist a dramatic turn of emotions.
A short white crescent means bad organs. [at a woman]
It's a crime to throw out something that's not garbage.
It's not a crime to like someone as a person.
Not being able to refuse doesn't make you a good person. People will get used to it. They'll start asking for ridiculous favors.
You tell women you love them, then say that you're incapable of … / I have never told a woman that I love her. / You don't always have to say it out loud. You can tell her with your eyes and your hands. You make them fall for you and … / Please tell her I'm sorry. / And that I cannot see her again because I've found my true love. / Love isn't a joke. / I believed it was a joke once. But when I lost my first love at sea, I realized something. Love is prison. A life sentence. Love is useless. I wanted to wreck all the women who ascribe meaning to love. That became useless as well, so I contemplated taking my life. I was clueless. I didn't know love. But then, someone taught me what it all meant. She blew me away and I immediately fell for her. I followed her back to Seoul, but I knew I wasn't good for her. I held back my feeling with all my strength, but with a stroke of fate, we met again. My heart is screaming out that I can't lose her again. That I won't lose her again. I'm grateful to God. For giving me this fated love.
I have a few words for all the scared losers out there who can't speak their minds and act like cowards. I once met a timid wimp and you won't believe what he did. He paid someone to seduce his wife so he could break up with her! What a class act, huh? If you're stuck in a loveless relationship and can't break up with them and if you're scheming despicable things like this, don't you dare show your face in front of me. I'll kill you. People say that I talk too much and it's always negative. There're right. But isn't that better than not saying a thing? If you're with someone for years, you say less and less. You think you know each other, so there's not much to say. But that's leads to misunderstandings. No one ever truly knows another person. So keep talking to them. Or plug in the blender, the vacuum or do a load of laundry. Don't let your environment drown in silence. A lively home is bound to be filled with sound. People called it energy. Getting used to silence is a terrifying thing, but don't ever say negative things like me. The other person could get sick of you.
What do you do when an earthquake breaks everything? You rebuilt from the beginning. But stronger this time, right?
We'll all hanging in there in this wretched world. You shouldn't cause trouble over a little thing like that. Not causing trouble isn't easy. It actually takes a lot of effort.
I missed it too much. Your criticism. Your voice. I used to get so embarrassed by your complaining, but I …didn't know were just lonely. I realized it once I became lonely.
It's really an honor to meet such a beautiful woman.
The rain is falling outside. It falls equally on the good and the bad. On those who don't deserve love and those who don't appreciate it. Love rains on everyone as well. Then why avoid it? If you're hurting from the temptations of love, the only way to stop it is to give in.
